Who Are We
Coleraine Yacht Club is a yacht club, founded on the 20th March 1962 on the River Bann in Coleraine. Now, we do the majority of our sailing around the north coast of Northern Ireland and the west bay in Portrush. We provide a pathway for young people to fulfil their potential in the sport of sailing. We are an RYA affiliated club and a registered RYA Training Centre.

What We Do
We offer various RYA sailing courses including Youth Sailing Scheme and National Sailing Scheme courses. We also offer powerboat courses throughout the year. During the year, we hold Sunday club racing to allow sailors to practice and enhance their racing skills. We also hold additional training on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings during the summer months. We aim to have as many sailors out on the water as possible for each of our events, maximizing the enjoyment and allowing sailors to get out on the water. Along side this, we attempt to hold a few social gatherings for members throughout the year.
Location
We are based in Portrush Yacht Club at Portrush Harbour on the stunning North Coast of Northern Ireland. We sail and race in the picturesque Portrush west bay.
